Accountancy Practice Based in Bury St. Edmunds
Sarah Place Accountants Limited has been established since 2001, when Sarah started trading from a “shed” in her garden. Since then we have established a client base in the Bury St Edmunds area and beyond and have built an enviable reputation.
The business has grown rapidly and we have recently moved offices to Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, where all are welcome. There are ample free parking spaces, please drop in and see if we suit your needs.
We are a team of highly qualified staff who each offer their own skills and knowledge to the office. We work in an open plan environment which enables all staff to work together when the need arises.
We pride ourselves on our customer relationships and all the staff are approachable. No query is too much trouble and we like to ensure our clients understand what we are doing and why.
We draw on our experience to ensure that all deadlines are met, with customer satisfaction and understanding as our highest priority.

Fees
Our fees are computed on the basis of time spent on your affairs and assignments by our members of staff.
We understand that no two clients or businesses are the same therefore we cannot give a flat rate charge per job.
We pride ourselves on being one of the most competitive rates available locally; we do this by only having one charge out rate which is not staff specific unlike other accountancy practices.
From April 2024, the typical hourly rate will be:
Accounts and personal tax £72.00
Bookkeeping £36.00
Payroll £46.00
Specialist work £100.00
These are typical charge out rates which are exclusive of VAT and may be amended from time to time in the future.
We offer all potential new clients a free initial consultation meeting of up to an hour, to establish
what accountancy services you require and what we require from you.
